Outfitters exploited are located in the Laurentides approximately 3 hours drive from the airport of Montreal/Ottawa .

The climatic conditions and the biotope of the region Baskatong permit the presence of a particularly high number of ruffed grouse and woodcock .

In addition, a very important migration occurs upon the end of September and during the month of October and allows to hunt the American woodcock in conditions more favorable in an area of high density and passages through the work of our guides and their pointing dogs in order to guarantee you an unforgettable experience of a hunting of very high quality.

The legislation of the Hunting in Québec permits four woodcocks and five grouses by day of hunting/ by hunter with a total limit of sixteen woodcock and ten grouse for your stay (non-resident).

We strongly suggest you to take advantage of your passage to enjoy your game's delicate meet ! Shore lunch can be made with birds!
The ruffed grouse has a delicious white meet. Without speaking of the woodcock which is preparing very well on a toast flambé with brandy...

You can bring your rifles subject to carry the Canadian registration of firearms (50$CAD) to your entry on Canadian territory.

The ammunitions are available via your hunting guide. You will save as well the weight unnecessary in your luggage!

If you are accompanied by your dog, you must have its vaccination certificate international in progress of validity includes vaccination against rabies, kennel cough and leptospirosis to the day. Its collar must be fitted with a plate identifying its name, its breed and the owner info's. Will lodge in our kennel during your stay. A veterinary clinic installed at Mont-Laurier or the village near the most according to the place of hunting operated may intervene in case of problem for your dog.

We welcome you at your arrival with a welcome cocktail, will put at your disposal rooms and will place your dogs to kennel. We will present you your guide, setting your plan and form the teams of hunting for the week according the evolution of the hunting and migration.

The hunting is carried in different territories (we are exploiting the crown lands, zecs, provincial reserves and the Outfitters private territories) in diverse biotopes, accompanied by your guide, his dogs and vehicle or your rental vehicle. Breakfast is provided for you in the Lodge each morning. The departures to hunt will follow.

The guides use "versatile dogs" which will allow you to have success in all hunts of small game/woodcock, waterfowl if the need to find. Their work in quest allows each of you to see change on the ground. The quality and the intensity of their judgment thus allowing you to approach your game shooting distance reasonable.
